About the Event

Welcome to an evening of healing according to Oriental/Chinese medicine (TCM).

This event is designed to connect to the energy of “Letting Go” so we can move forward into the new.

The time of autumn and the Metal element is very much connected to relive ourself of old and new unwanted baggage that we don’t need nor want to bring into the calmness and hibernation energy of the winter season. The changing seasons also takes it’s toll on our immune system so we strengthen our core and protective energy to be able to go forward with more strength and focus intent. Lets go into the deep winter with strength, lightness and clearer mind.

To help us achieve this we will enjoy a cup of tea with immune strengthening herbs according to TCM, go over what the Metal element represents and flow into qigong moving meditation, we then end the night with guided meditation and sound journey, let go of what is not needed.

The evening includes

  • Tea with nourishing and immune strengthening TCM herbs
  • Short discussion about what the Metal energy and autumn time represents
  • Qigong moving meditation especially designed for release and strengthening the immune system
  • Relaxation and sound healing

QIGONG

Qigong is best known for its form of moving meditation, moving slowly in sink with our breath, each exercise is repeated a few times to open the flow of energy in the body. Each qigong movement has a specific function to promote health and wellbeing removing any blockages or stagnation within. These blockages can arise in many forms like pain, tiredness, allergies, anxiety, insomnia, loneliness and more. Along with postures and moving meditation qigong also includes breathing technique, self-massage, sound, meditation and focused intent.

This event is designed to fit those with no previous knowledge of Oriental medicine (TCM) medicine and qigong but also those with some experience of TCM or qigong.
